The Artist - Mysterious AL
Al rose to fame in the early 2000’s through the explosion of street art, developing a notoriety for his wall paintings, paste-ups and street installations alongside his contemporaries D*face, Banksy and Tim Head.
Al’s work has changed dramatically from his early beginnings. His collaged ‘portraits’ are influenced by ancient tribal masks, reimagined in wild contemporary colours. His work is striking and at first glance humorous; but look closer and you’ll see something more vulnerable or melancholy.

What are the Chosen?
‘The Chosen’ is a collection of 100 unique handmade paper collages by world-renowned artist Mysterious Al. Like with a traditional PFP project, each physical artwork has various traits such as ears, spots, snouts and colours with varying levels of rarity.
Each piece exists as both a physical original and a beautiful 1/1 NFT. They’re like twins, but only one can survive. The other must be destroyed.
Once minted, holders will have a chance to burn their NFT and be sent the physical artwork in its place. We’ll ship it to you anywhere in the world for free.
However, if you choose to keep the digital version, the corresponding physical piece will be destroyed.

How does it work?
Stage 1
Collector mints a mystery-boxed Digital Collectable.
Stage 2
After minting, your artwork will reveal itself!
Stage 3
On the burn date, the holder can decide to burn their Digital Collectable and be sent the original artwork in its place.
About the collages
Al’s original collages are the cornerstone of his artistic practice and are his most in-demand artworks. They regularly sell out at exhibitions with collectors queuing for hours to obtain a piece. Al’s collages are only available at his exhibitions, they’ve never been available online…until now.
Each Collage measures approx 45 x 45cm and is made from 100% cotton 300GSM Italian Fine Art paper, painted with acrylic spray paint and assembled with archival glue.
The paper sheets are torn up, painted and reassembled to make colourful, high energy artworks.
People see different characters and expressions in Al’s collages. They each have a unique personality, making it easy for a collector to connect with their piece.

About the Digital Collectables
The Digital Collectables are high resolution 3020 x 3020px images. They all contain traits of varying rarity including spots, snouts, nostrils, teeth, whiskers and stripes. 10 of the collection are super rare single colour versions, including an all black ‘mono’ version and a gold version!
